Well, indeed a bit extreme :)
Clean the CPU pins thoroughly and sand down the socket as far as it can (if not done already) and it should help to keep it installed. If that doesn't work, I think the best bet would be to find another A600 MB and see if it works better. In My 600 it sits very well and I don't expect it to fall off, even during transport.
I got my vampire today can't wait to fire it up!!!!!
@videogeek, do you remember when you first ordered it? I am trying to figure out my place in line...
I wanted to buy a vampire 500, a dream I saw very close thanks to an affordable price, now I have to buy it on ebay for $ 600 ??? why they can not even sell these at a fixed price as the 600V2?
They will once they get manufacturing up and running. The ones on ebay are early hand-built versions sold to make money to help start production. I'm not sure about the final price of V500, but probably not much different from the V600 price which is €250 afair (or was it US$250?).
Vampire arrived today.
Thanks majsta! :)
My Vampire arrived today too. Sadly it will be weeks until I can test it out, but it looks beautiful! :)
