Apollo 1260 64mb mod job

a customers Apollo card 1240 25mhz

now.

64mb mod
battery

1) remove the mach ram chip (with care)
2) cover any area affected by heat (ram socket / zorro socket)
3) use heat gun and carefully lift the semi melted mach socket away.
4) clean and tin the mach chip pads and the mach chip
5) position the mach chip back on the pads and reheat with heat gun or soldering iron
6) remove foil / protection. & inspect solder
7) clean and test
8 )fit 64mb mod socket (pins towards ram socket)
9) solder wire from under Apollo ram socket to mod PCB. (A4 pad)
10) clean & inspect
11 ) fit ram and test.

I don't have a 64mb ximm sadly but I've ordered one to test it...and a good clean to get the flux off it.
