1: ide-cf adapter for v402

I tried V402 with the cf adapter in A500 and I think they will fit under the keyboard. Maybe add plastic sheet for insulator to be sure not contact with the metal shell of keyboard. But he top metal shield of mainboard needs to be left out I think.

6 pcs A600 "angled" ide-cf adapters 20€/pce and a few with extension header on top side 25€/pce.
Two of the adapters that have a socket on bottom and header on top have
the other CF-connector guide cut off in order to make space for 44-contact 2.0mm IDC-connector to plug on top. (an IDC-connector is bit wider than a corresponding pin header.)
I'm interested in an Amiga and Atari mouse adapter if available.
Hi, I would like to order one A600 "angled" ide-cf adapter. Is it possible?
Hi, I want buy an Angled CF Adapter for A600 :)
are there any V402's available? I'd be interested in 2 if there are
Please see 1st post of thread. I will update availability information there. ab
About v402 boards Without connectors. I have 32 pin socket strips with long contact pins. Soldering these will make adapter boards taller than previous assemblies.
If you need the pins for MKL IDE68K. Just get them from spare IC socket's (Like I did).. Drill a small hole in a piece of wood. Put Socket over the hole with the pin in, and push it out (one by one), as it's very easy to do...
Interested in 2 x v402.....will PM
Do any smart chaps around here know why the a600 patched ks1.3 ROM doesn't work with the c.f. Ide adapters in an a500 ?
I know the patch uses an a1200 scsi.device module and this could have something to do with it. I've tried patching with the a500 ks3.1 scsi.Device module but the patch is specifically written to use only 2 versions of the a1200 module.
It doesn't work in the CDTV either. I tried it with Kippers CF card+8mb board.
What about patching with the A590 scsi module (if there is such a thing) would that be possible?
The gayle emulation isn't 100% complete. For example it doesn't distinguish between 16 and 8 bit transfer IIRC.
Also there were cpld configurations with definite glitches, HDD drives would not work (presumably because of extra iow ior pulses) but Cf cards shouldn't work either but they did.
On v401 / v402 boards you should check if xilinx cpld user code is "4025" with jtag cable and software.
I'm running kipper's combo ram ide board in one of my a500's and the patched Rom doesn't work on that either.
The creditcard section of gayle is not emulated. Cpld code may need to be updated to make the adapter tell there is no creditcard(pcmcia) installed.
Tbh it's prolly easier for someone to just patch ks1.3 with the scsi. Device from an a500 ks3.1 Rom.

Folks, Kipper and I (and possibly others) are offering a Bounty over at EAB for an updated KickStart v1.3 patch for A500's using Kippers or MKL's A500 IDE expansions:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=77782
Does the patched rom work in A600?
A1200 Rom 680(EC)20 code does not necessarily run on 68000.
Pleased to say I "assembled" my first V402 board and it worked "straight out of the box"...how pleased I am :)
+ve feedback coming of course.
Cant help with the 1.3 ROM issue...I used 2.05 and 3.1
Just got mine in the mail and it works, another satisfied customer!
I'm interested in two V402 ide68k boards with CF adapter for the A500.
Do you have a A500 IDE hard disk adapter?
read post and I see 600/1200 ... if you have an IDE for the A500 Rev5 NTSC I am interested :)
if not I do thank you for your time :)

Hi. Two v402 (with special idecf adapters) and one cfidecpv297 for sale. V297 needs a riser socket in rev5 because the ksrom is closer.
Hi, I'm interested in one of the v402 with special idecf adapter.
Payment sent.
Update: withdrawn from purchase.
v297 won't fit with http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...040-byte-flash KSROM adapter board, only standard dip ic clears the ide board. maybe a v298 could be made, where board dimension is made smaller. Also the CF header at the back should be brought tighter towards 68000 in order not to be so close to denise chip.
The www page may be down soon for a while, so I think i'll post the documents in zip/lha, here or aminet doc/hard.
Is this thing still available?
1 pcs: V402 with surface mount parts soldered and cpld programmed and board tested (no dip-64 socket nor 40-pin ide connector soldered nor included) 30 euros includes shipping (*)
If yes: declaring interest.
Having a deal, money sent.
Board received, will leave feedback.
Many thanks for this quick delivery!
You still have pcs Completed V402 ide68k boards price 45 euros (no tested boards in stock)
thx.
i have 2 pcs v402 adapters fs.

Do You be so kind upload You's www page on zip file or attach v402 schematic, pcb png's jed and abel file.
Best regards
I bought one of these boards recently (v297 with CF adapter) and now that I am trying to install it I see Mika's website is "404" (ie. no longer exists). Does anyone have the wiring diagram to connect the /OVR and /INT2 signals? I have emailed Mika, but am asking here in case he doesn't reply (near future or ever). TIA
I got this info from Mika via email:
> the cf is powered by the adapter.
> the pins are int6, int2 and ovr, left to right when looking the top side of
> adapter so that pins are "upside" (cf slot at left.)"
It would be a good idea if Mika put the installation instructions in clear English in the first message of this thread. I just got this via email from him:
> Correction to last word. Right hand side, not "left"
Anyway, it did install correctly, autoboots etc., so I'll leave these (rather scant) instructions here if anyone needs them.
I'll upload a copy of www page tomorrow.
