A500 IDE adapters, PS/2 mouse adapter, A600 CF adapter

I also shipped something to the states a week before Christmas and it's still not there. There is this message at the local post service site: "Handling of international mail at JFK airport in New York is currently experiencing a heavy backlog. The backlog will delay mail delivery from Finland to the United States." Perhaps that is what is holding these shipments up.

Do you have any adapter for a500 with ide and cf?

Used the remaining socket pins to make about 7 low profile v402 boards. With 200 mA fuse but one with 500 mA fuse.

- what is the limit for the size of the attached units (HDDs) that can be used. I. e. I might be able to connect a 100GB HDD but can only use 64?

2 gb partition, 4gb disk. With 64bit drivers more, though i havent tried that myself.
Attachment to mainboard signals could be done with some kind of press fit pins to pcb via holes.

Feeling bold today, I'll take one.

Oops. Wrong way, pin 1 of cpu is seen at lower left of the lower picture of your post, also ide pin 1 can be seen.

I have thought about putting colorful epoxy dots on the pcbs to mark pin 1:s.
Also, maybe laser print pcb "silk screen" on stickers and attach them on pcb.

I dont know for sure if the metal shield will fit once you place the board other way around. Possibly the metal shield will need to be put aside.

After long research, yes, no pin 1 marked for the CPU :/

So if you are a noob :/ The mistake is possible.

I suggest you to update the first topic... With a clear instruction, i will do the solder, and put the correct way the 68kide v402 in the right way :p

So use the picture (use it please for helping noobs).

8meg ram board used modified code from LDV a600_8mb verilog.
The chip is rare, 5volt 4Mx16 edo (or fpm) dram. I think i will find parts to recycle from SIMMs to some 30 pcbs that were factory made quite many years back.

i'm interested in v402+8mb, a question or two before ordering for my A2000. is this board compatible with the 2mb mini megachip expansion (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...roducts_id=915). do you know of any problems with the v402+8mb memory map or fitting in an A2000? And how many IDE devices can be attached to the controller at the same time?

The chip expansion should likely be compatible.
So far I have tried the ram board on an A500 main board. Autoconfig in/out signals are to be added, and wired to mainboard (of A2000) to avoid conflict with autoconfig cards.
There could be a master and a slave drive on the cable, 2 devices.

The items bought by konpat, mike_01 and sardine last week should ship during this week.

8MB board: Appears that autoconfig in and out are now there. If no wires are connected, a jumper is required to turn autoconfig on or disable the board appearing to amiga.
Will ship tomorrow.

Ide v402 low profile and ram wont attach to each other directly. Cpld chips "collide" preventing complete insertion. Ram on top will not fit because of ideconnector. Riser socket in between might make the combination not fit.

Hi. Is your adapter v402 with low profile pins? Then you will need a riser socket in between. If it is with the long pin socket headers, you could actually solder the mem board to same pins under then ide board.

I will make a more fitting version of memory board some time, with 3.3v memory and cpld, that can be placed on top side of v402 ide.

Shipments to mike_01 tgca, or other memory board actually delyed (one v402 and memory combo shipped though, with riser socket in between.) In tomorrows mail, some will ship.
