Declare interest for soldered combination 8mb+ide(80€) for A1000 NTSC. Thank you
I would like to declare interest for soldered combo 8mb+IDE for A1000 NTSC as well. I am located in the United States.
Has anyone managed to get the RAM on one if these to auto configure on a CDTV, is it just a case of linking config_in from the board to the module? The web page isn't very clear on this.
Addmem works, but a lot of chip mem is consumed, presumably because the system doesn't know about the fast mem until too late.
I've seen there are some 68k ram modules which say they auto configure so I'm guessing it's technically possible?
Thanks everyone.
Me too, Declare interest for soldered combination 8mb+ide(80€) for A1000 NTSC. In the US.
Thank you
Payment sent - added 5€ for CF Adapter
Message to buyers: I have a number of paid adapters to ship, probably will by monday.
payment sent few day ago and small packet received yesterday
2 pin on ide soldered ensamble, removed short circuit, in test soon
The short is probably intentional, if between gnd and cableselect signal.
ok, i verify, csel to gnd
send me a link with schematic for cable 3 pin, please
Hi. If there are 6 pins at the end, the edge is gnd, if there are 5 pins, third wire can be clipped. int2 and ovr to be connected
Info page www.mkl211015.altervista.org/ide/ide68k.html
scroll down to version table for pictures of int2 and ovr connections.

Declare interest for soldered combination 8mb+ide for A1000 NTSC. Thank you
I have been told I need to ask for one that works with EzdineG's Kickstart adapter board "to make sure he programs the cpld with a firmware that's 100% compatible with the 1000 /OVR."
Thanks.
Some newer IDE v4xx boards have cpld code 4196,4197 or 4198.
These don't drive /OVR signal in space daxxxx, only at dexxxx in order to reduce switching noise on /ovr wire. This seemed to work on A500 mainboard (no chipram expansion+clock present)
A2000 (B2000 has Gary) and A1000 (probably) have pal decode "clock" to address space d80000..dbffff (A500 A200 Technical reference manual p. 229-230 pal listing)

Next version CPLD code will drive /OVR for all areas where ide or cfidecp 68k is appearing.

New fixed jedec files for xc9572xl / xc95144xl tq100. to be added. v4201 files seemed to be non-working (for xc95144xl on v421 board. (also v419)).
Please disregard this post, edited the original 2 posts back.
@mkl
When shorting the config in / config out pins on a v40 RAM68k, is the board disabled or is autoconfig of the board disabled?
I would like to manually add RAM to the system using a program like “addmem.” Is it possible or do I have to have a v59 board instead?
Thanks.
Declaring interest for 8mb + ide + ide-cf adapter for stock NTSC A1000.
Thanks :)
Is there a post / thread on how / what is needed to update the cpld files ? I did some searching here.
EDIT - ignore found the information.
This post for describing 'riser' boards.

Possible to make ide and ram card and the cpu, external by adapter.
Pads for /int2 , /ovr, /int6
74F86 on socket for the xor gates that make cpu 7MHz equivalent clock from /C1, /C3. Or solder blob to JP6 near card edge to connect CPU 7MHz to card edge contact, and put to wire dil-14 socket.
The dil64 socket area is close to case edge. Using long pin cardedge connector would allow use of ZIF test socket.
Riser card blank pcb that offsets 68000 back and sideway direction of case away from case edge.
Hi. I had archived and deleted PMs before 21st april.

White led will be always at least dimly on with 3.3volt cpld and bus hold. Can fix in code, or few kilo ohm resistor in parallel with led or pull up at led - pin.
Package received. :)
Arrived, thank you!
Interested in an ide board v402 with the special ide-cf adapter.
Hi. I will have, for the time of next week or two, only one ide+ram board for sale.
A few V402 or more V4xx boards and idecf adaptees could be available later.
Interested in 2-4 sets, sending PM.

The other one has plastic strip insulator pushed between boards and tape wrapped over boards (provides some protection to the circuits.)
V61 ram has both config in and out available at pcb pads.
Attachment 137373
Boards have 6 pins at the end. Connector in picture has /int2 red, /ovr black, ground yellow.
Ram v61 and v62 have pull down resistor for config in to enable it when not connected elsewhere.
V64 has pull up, and solder blob jumper to gnd.

PM sent to previously interested (even a few months back) and list cleared.
Sorry, but the first post is not really clear to me. I'm interested (informally at the moment) in an 8MB+IDE board, is this available? Is it complete or do I need anything more to get it working?
