Hi mkl, interested in 1 ide68k
will pm thanks
Recieved today and they are undamaged :)
Will test later.
I'm about to build three v293 cfidecp adapters, price 65 euros each.
Received my IDE68K yesterday and it's all working. Thanks!
Positive feedback left.
Hi MKL
I sent you an email a while ago regarding buying a IDE68K for my CDTV. I have checked that I should be able to use it on the CDTV as its a similiar motherboard to an Amiga 500.
Can you tell me if the CFIDE you are selling is the same one as the one storm has put a picture up in this thread:
http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=37843
If so I will buy one.
Has anyone made a custom 1.3 rom with Gayle IDE support? I'm looking at doing this and would appreciate a pm from someone who knows how.
Then I can order another ide68k from MKL. :-)
Hi, the v208 (IIRC) I offered you looks like this:
http://www.students.tut.fi/~leinone3/ide/b2000v44.jpg
Also, 3 v293 should be complete soon. It has "two ended" round pins on the underside and socket on the upper side, so it's taller.

Hi mika, so what's the real difference between v208 & v293 that isn't cosmetic?
Ah nice, so does does it work?
Btw, how's the combo cf-ide68k + fast ram board design, you and kipper are working on, going?
I'll prolly want a 4mb and an 8mb version. :)
New year's here ! : ))Quote:
I won't be able to ship any new or old adapters until next year.
if there are any left...
I have sent a pm.
Regards,
Oliver
Hi, I have some V402 boards to be completed soon.
These would be programmed with rev2 cpld code where the secondary outputs should be working too. The ones shipped latest last year had this update too.
I'll be making also V402 boards with right-angle 40-pin female receptaple headers soldered on the underside of the board. Then it should be possible to put a male ide-header CF-adapter to it, and access CF-card through Amiga 500 side slot.
Hi,
Would be interested in a 68ide board for A500/1000/2000...if/when available.
Pls let me know/PM me when able to ship.
Thanks and brgds
Would be interested in a 68ide board for A500 if/when available too.
Pls let me know/PM me when able to ship.
Interested in a V402, with a straight shrouded IDE connctor.
Please PM me.
/norby
Last week's adapters should be ready soon..
V402 ide68k boards are for sale, price 40 euros- will these fit in A2000?
Rev 6.2 motherboard . 3.1 rom .
Declaring interest if it works.
Interested in an IDE adapter. Don't care which connector as long as it'll recognize the CF microdrive.
Curtis
Amiga 2000 motherboard may have a 4-pin header where the ide connector will be. So ot seems in one mb revision. Riser sockets could be used for clearance.

The CF connectors I've been using are "type 2" which Microdrives I believe use.
interest removed , iv found parts elsewhere
Interested, PM sent
Still waiting on a response :)
Declaring interest in 1 unit, provided this will solve my problem with Kippers 608 blocking a normal adapter?
Im intrested too, are they avaliable?

@ mkl
Does it fit/work in a CDTV? If yes, then I'm Interested in one complete unit.
From my understanding this board requires that the IDE drivers are in Kickstart, correct? Does 3.1 Kickstart for the A500 contain the IDE drivers? Or only 3.1 for the A600?
You need KS2.05 or KS3.1 for the IDE to work - you can also patch KS1.3 with the scsi.device file from KS3.1 if you have the ability to burn your own ROM's.

I've contacted mkl by PM and he said that there are 2 wires from the IDE- adapter that have to be soldered onto the CDTV's motherboard. I've asked to where exactly on the mobo, but no answer so far... Does anyone else has an idea on how to do this?
I asked the same question via PM weeks ago ... so still interested in the answer if anyone has more experience.
Thank you in advance.
According to HERE, /OVR is on Pin 11 of the Diagnostic Slot and /INT2 is on Pin 13.
While I don't own a CDTV, I'm sure it wouldn't take much to trace a suitable location on the mainboard to solder these two connections.
@ Draxx
Thanks for the info. But I'd rather had have another HD solution for my CDTV.
It's a little vague if this will fit or work in my CDTV. So, for now I withdraw my interest.
Hi MKL,
I'd like to register my interest for 1 x ide68k.
Understand it will still be a few weeks until they're ready?
Cheers :)
Dear Mika
I want Ide68K + CF Adaptor special for Ide68K.
Thanks.
I'd be interested in a IDE /CF adapter for a 500 too :)
Price update at front post.
Blank V402 PCBs for sale. No extra CPLDs left for sale.
Also, I can take "pre-orders" of assembled V402 adapters that will ship in paid order. Price includes a resettable fuse (200 mA or so) for the IDE-header pin 20 supply that is for ide to cf adapters (and ide to SD card adapters). IDE-connector is "un-boxed" pin header, made from 44 positions of snap-of header and the 4 extra pins removed at the edges. The remaining plastic should add some support for inserting and extracting mating connectors.
I'm going PM to those previously interested.
Up to 9 units of cfide68k V297 (newly revised, similar to V296) should be complete soon, price 70 euros. These boards use screws instead of glue to support the CF-connector. IDE and CF DASP- signal connected together. Ide data-bus other half pull-up resistor network installed and a dual schottky diode for IOW- and IOR- for some kind of signal termination. It might clamp reflecting wave negative voltages and add a little of capacitive load. IDE header is black with walls and 22-pin clock-port-wannabe-connector moved a little bit left.
I've thought about hacking V402 board for 3.3 volt XC9572XL CPLD. +5V supply to circuit could be cut with knife and a small sot-23 3.3V regulator LM3480 place in some spot on the PCB. No fuse for (now 3.3V!) supply voltage for ide-header pin 20, because the regulator limits after 100 mA.

Hi mkl,
I would like to purchase an ide68k please.
Could you get in touch with me to see how to proceed ?
Thanks,
Franck
I'd like to have a IDE / CF drive in a A2000, is it possible with this under KS 1.3 or 2.04?
The FAQ mentions reservations for the 2000 , not sure what that means?
I'm interested in 1x ide68k for my A1000....any left?
Pls send me also the total (including postage to Slovenia, EU) to my PM...including your IBAN, SWIFT/BIC codes...
Thanks and brgds
