How does it look with the production of the ide68k boards?
Board received, thanks!
Haven't tested it yet....but have a couple of questions....where is pin 1 on the ide connector of the board (it is not marked...)?
Does it work on an A1000 without any extra connections (I remember that some expansion boards for the A1000 were asking for extra signals from the motherboard)?
Anyone with A1000 and ide68k experience?
Thanks in advance!
pin 1 is a hole square, normally

The pin header without walls isn't polarised, and the board has no "silk screen", so pin 1 isn't obvious.
There is a resettable fuse for ide pin 20 +5v supply in the newest assembled boards, but avoid wrong insertion anyway.
Interested in one if it fits in the cdtv! Do the the pinclamp cables come with it?
How much is total including shipping to usa?
I assume this will be autoconfig with rom 3.1?
Thanks!:)
I think it fits in CDTV.
No cables included for /int2 and /ovr connections to mainboard, need to solder two wires yourself.
Price with shipping 45+10 = 55 euros.
Included is a free 40-wire IDE-cable.
around 8 pcs v297 about to complete price 70 euros.

Can you PM me a price for The IDE controller for the 500 please, shipped to UK.
I am interested in this IDE adapter for Amiga 500. I would use it with CF card. Which version is recommended to buy? Which kickstart does it require (for autoboot). Is memory expansion included, or I have to plug in trapdor memory expansion? Are they any hardware modifications needed?
Sorry for so many questions, I hope you will find time to reccomend me the right thing.
Edit: PS2 adapter and memory expansion is also considered, so please post some prices and images for all.
Regards,
No memory included.

Some pics at the hardware page. V297 is similar to other v29x boards.
Amiga 600 compatible KS-ROMs
Since the board emulates the internal IDE-interface of Amiga 600 and it doesn't have ROM of its own, you thus need Kickstart ROM with the driver for A600's IDE. These ROMs are:
KS3.1 V40.063
KS2.05 V37.350
KS2.05 V37.300 (Some say this isn't ok for some ide drives, i don't know any better.)
AFAIK, an early A600 KS-ROM KS2.05 V37.299 doesn't have the driver.
The PS/2Mouse adapters are wired for atari ST use.
Hello. I'm interested in purchasing one of your A500 IDE adapters with intention of connecting a 2.5" hard drive and booting from it. I currently have a Kickstart 3.1 rom ready and waiting. I then plan on ordering a kipper A500 8MB ram expansion.
My A500 is a rev6A board. Am I going about this the right way? If so, are you still making the V402 model or have things moved on? I'm not a huge fan of CF drives, so would really like to get one of these before your production moves to a CF only solution (I'm not sure whether you'll continue to make both or not?).
Thanks,
Paul
Hi. I have a few built V402 adapters (and a number of blank pcbs.) V297 has both ide and cf connectors. 2.5" drives need adapter to connect to 40 pin ide header.
SAMSUNG-GT-B2710/B271MXXLK1 SHP/VPP/R5 Dolfin/2.0 QTV/5.3 SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1 OPN-B
Excellent! Can I have a V402 adapter please? By adapter you simply mean in order to get the power to the 2.5" drive? I can get a 3.5" to 2.5" cable and grab the power from the square power connector socket or floppy power connector, so that should be okay I think. Would this be the correct way? How do other people connect up their drives?
PM me regarding payment information. Cheers.
Hello!
How much would it cost to send one of these A500 IDE/CF boards to Australia? Thanks.
Interested in a IDE adapter, PM sent!
Interested in an IDE adapter. PM on its way...
I got report about problem with ide68k (v402 cpld code ver is i think 2)
Has anyone had problems getting 2.5" 3.5" or microdrives to work or show up at all while flash mem based CF cards work?
The adapter may need debugging. 3 latest sold boards not yet shipped

Are you still taking orders for the V402 ide68k boards?
Thanks
Garry
I think i removed the glitch and hdds started responding besides cf cards.
Will next ship the three boards.
Attached jed file for v401/402 cpld update (files as txt) (if you have/make xilinx cable)
2 adapters available for sale from now to friday. (cplds with the recent "4025" code.)
One V402 board special offer price, 40 euros including non-tracked shipping (airmail) with paypal gift payment. The board has one "socket pin" a little loose in the pcb hole widened after removing and replacing a broken one. The pin connects 68000 to mainboard socket, but doesn not connect electrically to ide68k circuits.
One V401 board 45 euros.
Registered mail shipping costs +10 euros extra, but on the other hand includes a free 40-wire ide-cable.
Hello!
Declare my interest for the V401 to put it into my Amiga 1000.

The adapter arrived yesterday! :) I just had time to open the package.
Perfectly packaged, and most important, the board is a high quality product, looks like professional.
I'm going to install it into my A1000 this weekend!
Thanks a lot Mika!

Positive feedback left!
howdy, any more boards coming? I have an Amiga 500 and i would like to order an IDE interface for it :) I'm waiting on a Kipper2 8meg fast ram upgrade and cpu apdapter, and would love to add an IDE interface as well :) let me know when you are ramping up production again :0)
cheers :)
Mine arrived last week, haven't got around to the soldering yet, wanted to let you know I received it safe and sound. Left positive feedback.
Hi, I am interested in purchasing an ide68k. Is there one available?
Kind regards
Malte
I will take another one with CF adapter. Was happy with the last one so sending PM
I'm interested in a cfide68k. Is one available to buy?
If the file content didn't change, it should be usable if you change the file extension from .txt to .jed
Also, attached here is a zip file, unzip to get the .jed file.
Hi. Have I connected up the cable to the ide the right way..
Mike..
Added jtag signal names to pin out picture.
Xilinx software I used is Webpack 4.2 (to process the design)
and to program via jtag on windows95 laptop, I think it was v3.3 but only the jtag programming part of the software.
Which version of Impact are you using?
Which speed grade is the cpld chip? if you can see the markings. It could be 7 or 15.
Maybe it needs to match with the speed grade specified in a .jed file. Or not if the cpld doesn't report or "know" its speed grade.
iT'S V402 and the cpld chip is D121729A as for the Impact software that I'm using. It's 8.1, cos 4.2 don't see the cable on LP1
(Win XP and a old win 98se laptop)
Mike..
Hi all. None that can ship right away. What I have is a few untested v297 and one v401, and a few V402 half completed, and v402 blank pcbs.
---------- Post added at 21:36 ---------- Previous post was at 21:23 ----------
The code is 7C, 15I or similar, meaning speed number (pin to pin delay in nanoseconds?), and Commercial, Industrial temperature ranges.
I would download the 8.1 software but been too lazy to register at xilinx download site.
If you could find the v3.3 software, you could then try if the file format is different somehow,
or if Impact software is operated diffrently. In that old v3.3 GUI I would first run "initialize chain", then xc9572 symbol appears if jtag connections are ok, then click it and select the jed file for the chip, run "program" with erase and verify options, and also run read back the 4 character user code to see if the right verision is on the chip, such as user code "4025".
@mkl
Would you have any PCB's left?
I would like to buy a couple from you if I may =)
Other than the XC9572 what are the other BOM components?
Am I OK to pay 65€ for the ide and CF adaptor posted, for when some are ready to ship or should I wait ?
I am interested in an A500 IDE kit too.
Hi. I mean like this one..
@mkl......do you have any v402 boards? empty PCB ok also :)
Hi. I've buyed 10 more cplds for v402 boards, so maybe a few will be for sale. And the blank pcbs for sale (these have tin solder traces on cpld pads, but are cleaned). A few v297 assembled
The WWW page hasn't been updated for a while. V402 cpld code was posted on this thread earlier. V29x variant of this cpld code is untested. V40x (and 10x) vs. others: separate 8-bit 74..245 buffer. Clockport. => careful consideration needed for ior, iow, and buffer enable signals needed to get them working with unified cpld source.
Hi. "stock" is 2 v402 and 4 v297 boards.
Please send PM. (Also to "refresh" earlier interest, i may have forgotten it.)
Prices
V402 45€
V297 70€ (included 3 wire cable with header receptable, for /ovr /int2 /int6 connections)
