Minimig is only analog signal thru vga. Does your monitor supports analog signal thru dvi?
My Monitor support
SVGA
DVI
HDMI
If you monitor supports it you can buy any vga to dvi adapter at your local store.
or look inside most graphics card boxes you bought, they normally come with 1 (if it's the correct male / female)
You can get hdmi to dvi cable cheap on eBay :)

Then you should use a monitor which has a vga input.
I try that but it doesnt work as I think it is cos my monitor is 60HZ

Now it arrived today and plug in my LG Monitor and it doesnt work :(
So I have go to town and get any little tv with 50HZ and it should bloody work with Minimig

That's a real shame as they are very cool, I loved setting mine up and playing around with it. Maybe there is a fault with it? I've just brought a BL702A home to use with my A1200 and A500 - I can try it with my Minimig if you are interested?Quote:

Stupid question, but do you have minimig set to 15kHz with the jumper when using the vga-scart cable? It will not work if set to 31kHz.

I thought that - you have currently set it to 31kHz, it cant work that way for you even if tv is 50/60.
Look at the motherboard and move the bridge jumper from 31kHz to 15kHz. Its marked VIDEO near the connectors upper part of your motherboard photo.

there also another jumper - FPGA and muc. At the moment it is FPGA
This jumper is for programming the PIC, you wouldn't need to move it as you have the ARM - it's in the correct position. I think a.mi.goun has possibly helped you to a working Minimig now, remember to use SCARTQuote:

Maybe kick.rom was removed by the seller of your Minimig to comply with copyright and AmiBay rules?

As far as I remember, Mimimig should show boot-loader even if rom is missing, but if your Minimig show nothing at all after switch on, it may be another problem. Maybe bad flashed firmware?

Try to rename Kick20.rom to kick.rom. I can not see minimig firmware file in the list also.

I can PM you to send you my file (assuming your FPGA matches), but it looks like you may be writing your files to a windows recovery partition, not an SD card?

I am not sure what you mean on recovery because I have Card reader HUB as my pc tower doesnt have SD Card reader. When I put SD Card in card reader hub USB and it come pop up quickly on top right on corner(I have windows 8.1) then I click it then it show all the files that I show picture that you saw above.Quote:

I have try rename kick20.rom to kick.rom and put minimig files on SD Card then plug in Minimig and turn it on.
It doesnt show up as it show blue screen on my TV with words saying Scart :(
Did you put the Minimig1.bin file I sent you on the card as well? If the kick20.rom file was a good rom image you shouldn't need to rename it....Quote:

I would also try another SD cards. If it doesnt help. it might really need reflashing or better try with original PIC instead of ARM.

Seems like you have wrong minimig1.bin. Just replace it with proper one (the one for ARM).
