Ed had this 060 that was sitting on his shelf, I brought it home and took a couple pictures of it to see if I can get anyone's assistance in identifying this 060 processor. Please look at the pictures below. Any help would be very appreciated.:)

Hiyas Nathan,
the Mask 01F34G is quite a common mask, I think this components manufacture was in 1995 thus making it a series 3 or 4 perhaps.
Its a full core, but I am unsure if its Miilitary Certified (MC) or eXperimental Controller (XC)
rkauer is bound to know, as would Alexh on EAB.
See that was my question as well. I haven't seen them with out the MC or XC before, so I don't know anything about the chip. Thanks for the information so far though!
I just did a search on google for "68060"+"01F43G" and all the results indicate that it's an XC.
Full core? If an EC-version with the same mask was being labeled XC68EC060RC50, and everything up to "060RC50" is missing on this one, I wonder how one can tell
Plug it into an amiga and use whichamiga =)
althought you would need to activate the MMU to see it available, something like blizkick would do that.
Hi Nathan,
It's rev1 mask with MMU and FPU.
They were quite often assembled on Blizzard PPC made by DCE.
Of course you know that the best way to check if they are ok and with MMU+FPU is to put them on turbo board and run whichamiga or other tool.
Cool. Thanks for the help. I don't particularly want to pull my 060 off of my 4060 card so, I don't know how or when this will get tested. I'm happy to know which version it is. I appreciate it. Quick question, how do I turn on the MMU and FPU to test it?
MMU: pending on which Workbench version you are using, simply type "CPU FASTROM" on a CLI and run Sysinfo.
For the FPU: use some fractal/mandelbrot program, or use a .jpg or .png render. Also a vector design program will show if the FPU is used or not.
Somehow I don't really get it...we're talking about the "01F43G" mask right? So...if EC types have a different mask (not 01F43G), then what is this?
