Honestly I don't understand why someone asks more pics of the external box or cable or others.

A1000 IS NOT BRAND-NEW, and therefore just because it is used, the Amiga shows some small scratches, yellow-colored marks as well as any other external or internal part.

A1000 is for sale "as is" with the warranty that works only. The original box is adequate for transportation via courier and it serves the purpose.

Taking pics needs a lot of time, in average 90 minutes to take some shots, choose the best ones, then crop, reduce, rotate, upload, write the code in the post, make a preview and at last click on the submit button.

Well, as declared in the original post who pays via bank transfer will be the favorite/preferred buyer and the manual will be included as a gift.

They ask for additional shots of the box, because they want to buy the A1000 because of the box! So take your cell phone make some pictures and post them here, no PhotoShop or something like that is needed, just pictures of that what you want to sell! Here is not a photographers community, we are retro computer geeks!!! ;)

As BlindGerMan has explained, the pictures of the box is not for the purpose of deciding if it's good enough for shipping.

It's because many of us are collectors and would like to have a complete system including original packaging. Mind you, it's expected that the box or the computer is not new.. But still, small blemishes, tears, stickers etc. could influence a collector's decision of buying. What would be acceptable for one collector could be a problem for another.

This is online sales, so it's only fair to ask for several good photos because buyers can't inspect what they are buying in person. If you are not ready to do that then you should not sell online.

I myself been selling online for years, and it really doesn't take an hour and a half to add pictures. Say 10 photos would take about 15 minutes to make, resize and upload.

Anyway since it's too much fuss, I'll withdraw my interest, because I can't buy something if I can't see what I'm buying. All yours hsc
