I may have one, pending another Brazilian user takes it first (outside Amibay). I'll let you know
I know Ed has a couple. It would be an A1200 with /030 Accelerator and 8 Meg of Fast RAM. I am guessing here, but the RAM is probably expandable to 16 or 32. Standard Hard drive, keyboard, mouse, and US Power Supply. I believe he asked for 300USD plus shipping. You want me to contact him and verify?
@Nathan: pure memory expansions are restricted to 4 or 8Mb.
More than this only on later 030 accelerators (or some of the über-rare DKB1202, Elbo* 1200/8 and a very few others).
@Marcelo: I may have an A1200 in a week.
3.1 ROM, capacitors swapped by me and the obligatory Retr0bright. White as snow (no, not as yellow snow). 350Mb HD hooked in. I'll PM you then.
R$380,00 plus shipping is good for you? Jadlog have a very good shipping cost.
I did say that they have 030 accelerators in them. I know one of them is a DKB Cobra or something like that. All of the ones he has for sale all have an 030 accelerator in them.
The DKB Cobra is a damn fine piece of kit. It can take up to 128MB Fast RAM and a SCSI interface (The DKB Ferret, but good luck finding one!)
There are RAM-only cards that give an A1200 more than 8MB Fast? Is that even possible? I thought the onboard EC020 was limited to 24-bit addressing, hence the 8MB cap?
There is a few expansions that can give up to 9Mb of FAST RAM, and some that map 4Mb on normal FAST RAM area and more 1.5Mb on the "slow FAST" area, but without the slow access. All PCMCIA friendly. But that is not the rule.
That would be the little card that plugs in to the end of the cobra, right? I seem to recall something like that but I cannot remember exactly.
