After many years of occupying loft space, I have decided that it is time to sell my beloved Amiga 1200, and all that goes with it.
I have: Amiga 1200 - after market internal HDD fitted, can't remember the size of how to find it out! It is in working order - I have had a great time testing it out for the last couple of days! The case and keyboard are slightly yellowed (see photos in later post) I had it connected to the monitor, but there was no sound, but when I connected it to a TV via the RF socket, sound was fine. Bearing in mind its other issues, I suspect the sound on the monitor! I also have the original disks and manuals, the box and packing for the Amiga, which has a few water marks, and the original sales receipt (traded an Amiga 500 for it!!). I have the original power supply and mouse - the left button doesn't 'click', but it still works fine. I also have an original Commodore 'brick' mouse, but the ball seems to missing....
I have an external floppy drive - I can't remember the make I'm afraid. There are 3 joysticks and one analogue joystick - none of these are fabulous tho!
I have a philips CM8833 monitor. It seems to have an issue with the sound and the power switch doesn't latch in. It also needs the odd tap on the side to display clearly. For this reason, it is FREE to whomever collects the computer, if they want it! I will not post this item!!!
There is a Canon BJ10ex bubblejet printer. I have not tested it so consider it FREE to any collector.
I have a case of disks, maybe 100 in total. These are magazine cover disks, old back disks, public domain software, including a Commodore 64 emulator and games! I haven't the time to test these so they should be considered blanks - anything that works is a bonus!!
Games.....
I have the following, boxed with instructions etc. Some are almost as new, some are decidedly 'tired', one (Banshee) has had a gentle nibble around the edge from a pet Hamster...!
Worms, Banshee, Knights of the Sky, Zool, Dogfight, Sensible World Of Soccer - also SWOS 95/95 but don't have the box for 95/96 for some reason, Combat Classics 3 pack - Campaign, Historyline 1914-1918, Gunship 2000 (has a problem on 1 disk), Award Winners Pack - Lemmings, Frontier, Civilisation, Premier Manager, Flashback, Wing Commander (has a disk error), Frontier, Football Crazy Pack - Kick Off2, Kick Off 2 Final Whistle and Player Manager (don't seem to work). Somewhere in the PD software is Disc Doctor which may correct these issues.
There is also F1GP - I have the manual, original disks and the game installed to Hard Drive, but no box.
I also have Amos, Final Copy II, Superbase 2 and Deluxe Paint III.
Price.....I would prefer to sell this to a UK based buyer, ideally one who can collect this so I can hand it over in full working order. I will take £150.
If anyone wishes to purchase individual items, I will price individual items (NOT the actual computer though!!!!) at £20 plus postage (myhermes) - but will accept offers. However, I want to give the 'job lot' a chance first before splitting it!
If any non-UK residents wish to purchase, then I will only take full price, and only after it has had a chance to sell within the UK first. Postage extra - I will get a quote if necessary.
