Viper 530 accelerator for Amiga 500

Selling my Viper/Ematrix 530 for Amiga 500. Fully tested, RAM, SCSI, 2.5" IDE port, in my Rev 6a motherboard, working.

- 68030 + 68882 running at 50Mhz
- 16MB RAM can take up to 128MB
- 2x 3.5" IDE ports, 1x 2.5" IDE
- Fast SCSI
- 68000 CPU in compatibility mode
- External KS socket with KS 2.05 included
- Driver disk and jumper cable that connects to INT2 to Paula Pin 16 (as described in the manual)
- Extra precision 68000 socket installed for easy(er) installation
- Please understand that this is a delicate hardware and NOT easy to install. I will provide every support I can to help with installation, and I've tested the card for several hours, but due to the age of this there is NO warranty or returns.

Some cards have been deliveres with a cable and a Paula socket, and some with only a clip-cable.
The cable seems to be included - see his last picture in the first post.

Very good turbo. I have too this. (one working with CPU 030 PGA and Friend still not working with CPU 030 QFP)

Btw. Where is 2x 3,5" IDE? This version (030 QFP) is from factory original clocked on 40 Mhz (Viper 530 without PGA CPU) and this is with 50 Mhz quarz. 030 QFP is then more overclocked then from factory. FPU is too RC40 and small overclocked but 40 Mhz working stable too on 50 Mhz.

Incorrect :) there were several of them that shipped running at 50Mhz with QFP, this model did not come with FPU, I've installed it myself and all 68882 FPUs from 25Mhz up are the same inside and can run up to 50Mhz - so no overclocking is done here actually :)

030 QFP in 50 Mhz? OK running on 50 Mhz but probably 100% not factory (Motorola) clock and 99% too not from producer Viper boards. I know Viper 530 only with 030 CPU 50 Mhz PGA (my version) and (or) with 030 QFP 33 Mhz clocked from producer - small overlock on 40 Mhz (Quarz on board 40 Mhz) -> CPU has small cooler. All Vipers 530 with IDE 3,5", SCSI is on some boards as optional + optional second SIMM socket.

Friends Viper 530 has 030 QFP 33 Mhz clocked original (producer) on 40 Mhz but card not working (eBay seller "very good condition...") - probably come later test with upgrade to PGA 030 50 Mhz + swap Quarz.

I think we could discuss this endlessly, bottom line is, this card was never overclocked, is running at 50Mhz, and did so perfectly, for several years since I had it. :)

OK. ;) For new owner this best all in one 030 turbo card - Viper 530 is great turbo :thumbsup: for A500/A500+ or perfect too in A500+ Tower ;) with Micronik Zorro II busboard.

Any idea if such card can work directly in A1000 without any expansion such as Rejuvenator? After all, it looks to plug to 68000 socket... Can other 68000 PCU socket turbos from A500/A2000 work in A1000?

I believe so, although I only tested it with Rejuvenator and Phoenix.

Nearly all 68k-socket turbos will work.

No it's not :) There was multiple hw configuration of this card, some of them had PGA cpu and some of them had surface mount CPU (like this card) I can assure you there is a CPU under the heat sink on the left :D
