Guru ROM 6.13 for A2091

Hello there my fellow AmiBayers

Today I shall be passing on this little gem that I got a while back, unfortunately it turns out that it is incompatible with my GVP hardware =(.

So whats all this Guru stuff about, well simply put this will give your CBM A2091 full 64bit support (much larger harddisks) as well as a much improved speed increase in data transfer.

The Guru ROM 6.13 I have here comes with

1. The GAL Adapter Board
2. 1x Guru ROM 6.13 (omniscsi)
3. 1x ROM for the second rom slot.
4. 1x Guru ROM Manual

If you would like I can offer an upgrade from Guru ROM 6.13 to 6.14 (free)

I would much prefer to swap/trade the unit for a GVP compatible adapter, so this would take a precidence over any cash deal

Not sure what to ask so how does £20 inc postage sound?

GVP adapter? If you're after a Zorro one? I might be able to help out there. I'd be happy with a trade for your item here, but coze seems quite keen to grab it, so I'd be happy to take the cash, so you can sell to him. (Same value, £20)

Andy, I think Zetro is looking for a GVP compatible Guru ROM adapter. Not a GVP SCSI Zorro board.

Actually I have what Zetty wants (A GVP Guru ROM) but I'm using it in my A530 setup, and I'ld like to compare and see a GVP guru ROM board and Commodore Guru ROM board together to see how they're different ...

Ahh, that would make more sense. I hadn't quite realised that there were different versions of the Guru ROM. I blame a lack of sleep. :)

A while back I bought a guru rom from my friend Amiga Digital, it is ment to be a GVP compatible guru rom adapter, however I cannot get it to work with any of my GVP kit -

GVP Combo 040@33
GVP A500 HD+
GVP Impact series 2

If you are interested I will program the appropriate ROM's for use with an A2091

you can then have this for £25 including postage to Germany, if it works, keep it, if it doesn't you can send it back and I will refund you.
