Whats this

I have a device hooked up to my DF1: on a A2000 and was wondering if anyone knows what this does here the Pics..

What make/model drive is your DF1? Maybe that's an adapter to use a bog standard PC drive in an Amiga?

Does your floppy drive reads / wrights HD floppy's?
I used to have a similar device but this looks more complex, mine allowed to use a standard PC hd floppy as 880k Amiga drive without modifications.

Both drive are amiga drives I was thinking it's some kind of copy protection remover or was a noclick but both drive's still click..

Also if you look someone scraped the numbers off the 2 IC's...

Maybe just a simple DF1 terminator ?
Or DF0/DF1 switch ?
Can't tell from the pics, maybe you could take lager ones and more clear.

I would hazzard a guess and say that these are for specific PC drives - so that they can be used in the Amiga.

I guess that's the other possibility, that it's a Cyclone contraption that allows you to copy protected disks.

Could you take pictures of your floppy drives?

I'll pull the case off tonight still only have my cel for the pics..
