Blizzard 1240 upgraded to 68060
Hello.
I want to swap or sell a Blizzard 1240(upgraded to 68060 cpu) original 68040 cpu and 80Mhz crystal is included.
Swap to:
Amiga 1200 68030 accerelator with min 8 Mb ram + 450 Euro
OR
selling it for 600 Euro

The Blizzard 1240 is upgraded to Motorola 68060 71E41J rev 6 and clocked to 72Mhz.
Inlcuded new battery, cooler/fan and socketed crystal + 128Mb ram 50ns EDO, upgraded by Stachu10 august 2015.
It is nice and clean and work with low temperature, the fan has low noise compare to original Blizzard 1240 fan.
I have used the card in a Amiga Tower system with Mediator setup and it works great.
Not compatible with SCSI KIT at 72Mhz, need another crystal.
I will pack the card in a antistatic bag in a extra protected pack.
Update:
On a standard Amiga 1200 desktop the card needs a good power supply.

Update:
This card is recommend for a Tower/Mediator system, i have tested it with a desktop 1200 + a 22Watt powersupply (max 3Amper on +5V) and it works ok.
With a clamp ampere meter i measured on +5v: ca 2.7 - 3.1Amper(peaks 3.3Amper)
The standard 1240 card with 68040@40Mhz pulls ca 2.9 - 3.5Amper.
The newer 68060 rev 6 pulls less power than 68040.
I can if the buyer is interested modify an standard ATX for desktop 1200 for safer use.
