Amiga 500+
I've ended up with too many projects so I'm putting my a500+ up for sale. The amiga is in working order, all keys are present. I'll upload a photo when I get a chance. I can include an amiga psu if required.
The battery needs removing but the ooze had not reached the pcb when I looked a few weeks ago.
Not sure how much to ask so I'll say £12.50 + postage and packing. Payment by Paypal gift please. Same price with or without the PSU.
Willing to send anywhere.

I'm interested, pending shipping to Portugal (psu not required). Some pics would be nice!
Please remove the battery as quick as possible please !

Ok, I checked the battery. I had not looked closely enough before, and assumed the brown ooze at one end is all there was. On closer inspection liquid had spilt out onto the circuit board and corroded some of the solder in some areas. I've removed the battery and cleaned up as best I can. Photo below shows the stained area. If you're no longer interested, no problem but let me know. Re-assembled the amiga and confirmed it still works by running Gorf :).

The reaction might not just stop there best follow the directions as outlined here by Zetr0 to save it from future damage.

That's a really interesting post, thanks for that... will get some spirit vinegar later. Ironically I threw a bottle of it out last week.

It's a really good looking A500+, it's a petty those nasty batteries :(.
I withdraw my interest for the moment and pass on to DJ.echo.

I'm interested (depending postage to Sweden) if dj.echo turns it down.
