I have 2 floppy drives i got from vesalia a while back.
they were sold as A4000 drives, but i imagine they will work in others that have room for bezel.
I think they are modified pc floppies??? they are hardwired as df0:
Double density, NOT high density.
I am after £10 each + postage

these still available? If so, exactly what condition are they in? Any yellowing etc? Do they read/write ok?
Also, do the faces match the colour of the A4000 case?

they are same condition as when i bought them. Just as spares. bit of dust from sitting on the shelf, no yellowing. test booted workbench disk ok.

I know it's a long shot, but would they fit an A3000? That is, would they align properly if I were to remove the fascia and replace the plastic eject button with a A3000 one I have at hand?
Most probably would. I've done it with a similar drive as you can see in the attached pictures.Quote:
