Hello, I'm in the United States and I have a Boxed Amiga 570 CD Interface for sale. Comes with original power supply. The unit is in beautiful shape but the little C= badge is missing. The box is in good shape but has packing tape all over it. I have a spare CD caddy I can throw in so you can start using it right away. I'm asking $80 delivered anywhere in the US. I can ship internationally but the shipping costs will be very high. :unsure:

Dumb question, but will this work with an A500?
That's the only thing it will work with! You get better compatibility with CDTV titles from a 500plus rather than the 500 due to the 1MB+ chip ram in the 500+, but many things should work with the 500.
Is it possible to use the drive from this in a CDTV?
My CDTV drive is fine but would be awesome to have spare drive :)

The drive in a CDTV is a Mitsumi CR-511B. The one in a 570 is a CR-512B. Whether it's the same electronically I do not know, but the cage around the drive will certainly be different...
Try servicing the CDTV unit. By that, I really mean just strip it down and clean the lens with a soft lint free cloth and isopropyl alcohol: worked for me! DO NOT be tempted to play with the focus or power settings.
