NOS Amiga 1200 computers from Amiga Technology old stock.

Update and Apology to all


This episode has saddened me greatly as an Amiga fan, I visited a company as mentioned previously and did a full stock take of the amazing list of old Amiga stock of mostly used but some new parts and agreed to a process to start moving to Amiga collectors. Lets be clear, the aim was for me to make a profit to fund something special based on stock that they had. Sadly during the last week it has become clear that the stock take list has been passed to another customer who had been buying the NOS A1200's two at a time, as soon as I offered to buy all outstanding A1200 stock they jumped in an bought the lot. There were 12 perfect NOS A1200 machines and the rest in dubious packaging but perfect computers. Because of this I have declined to purchase the last two from them and want this thread closed.


Please accept my apologies for getting your hopes up, I am equally disappointed as I wanted one myself. The special project I wanted to fund was the fact that they have 130 Amiga 4000 motherboard returns that I wanted to repair and build into new A4000 machines with modern case etc. If people are interested and it is allowed, I may make the stock list available, trust me, it is is very interesting.

As there is confusion and to be clear, I am removing myself from being involved in these potential Amiga items.

I will have available in a few days 10 x NOS Amiga 1200 computers from Amiga Technology.

If interested they will be £295 + Shipping and Paypal charges. If interested please confirm interest below and once they are all tested as perfect then I will confirm numbers and first to show interest will be offered in order.

Hi All

Wow, I thought people would want one of these, I am keeping one as well as they are so nice.

I have a list of interested and I will pick them up before the end of the week, test all units to ensure they are perfect which on first examination they do look amazing. Once I have them I will then send PM's to all in this list with postage costs and once paid then I will ship immediately.

Really dont know what to do with them...just they are very hard to find....Need two for my new stuff from the Kickstarter campaign (silver and ghost)

and i want 1 just for my collection....will never use that one. Just wanted more cause no Chance ever to get them ;-)

does this mean you will re-case 2 of them ?? if so why buy NOS and not used as you buy NOS for the cases/keyboards !! right ???

also the interest for these I knew would be very high and asking for many from a lot of only 10 is just may I say not "In the Spirit" so to speak.

its not against the rules to buy as many as you like (unless you intend in selling on to some popular auction sites) just not good form.

as it stands in the Queue, you stand to have 6.

If everybody takes one, more than just the (wealthy) hoarders get a fair taste of a NOS piece of Amiga equipment. It's a pity that for the second time in a few months these pop up and the seller does not try to distribute this more fairly among the community. But hey, it's indeed not against the rules and possibly simply "a sign from above" that I shouldn't spend so much money on old hardware. Oh wait, I'm an atheist.

Its down to the seller - but I find it hard to believe that someone would want 6 and not be reselling... share when this popular...

Just a small word for caution:

Please make sure not to power up these systems too soon after receiving them.
It's better that they acclimate to room temperature first.

Of course, for buyers it's even better to recap your system asap.
