Motherboard with CPU

Hey guys

I have for sale my old motherboard. Its a GA-8SIMLNF REV 2.0 it has the 2.6ghz celeron (northwood) CPU with fan and heatsink. It comes with no ram though.

I was running this upto about 5 months ago, was working fine then.

Asking £20 plus postage (about £5 in the UK) or will swap for a stock bare bones working A1200 motherboard (do not want one that needs the floppy hack). If a swap is done I will pay postage for mine and you would pay to post the A1200 motherboard. I will also give this a cleanup if it sells.

I have an 1200 motherboard I'm not using, I'd swap.

I'm not too up on the 1200, so I don't know what the floppy hack is.

I'll get it down from the loft tonight and let you know the model # etc.

Swap sounds good :thumbsup: Best way to see the floppy hack where they stuck PC drives in is at the back of the boards. Where the drive plugs in you will see a tiny wire.

Click for bigger piccy, the wire in the pic is what I don't want hehe, I have one of these at the moment and it was a pain to get normal drives working on it.

OK, the board is a Rev 1B and has no wire underneath.

As long as it don't have that pesky wire thats great my friend. Hit me a PM with your address and I will get this board posted out tomorrow. Don't worry about sending the A1200 board just yet, wait till this arrives and you are happy.
