Dear members,
while getting through a lot of my stuff I found another thing I can't identify. I'm sure I'll find some more, so this thread will probably continue :lol:
Ok then...I found 3 of those keyboards attached. They are Cherry keyboards, but with the red Amiga A like it is on A1000 keyboards.
Anyone have a clue? I can't find anything how to connect them...
It's the original Cherry keyboard which came with the first versions of the A2000 A (German Design model).
The most noticable difference is the smaller F1-F10 keys, the different (cherry type) caps lock led and the red /A keys.
From all Amiga keyboards they have the nicest feel and keyclick.

It appears that these floppy drives are actually PC drives. Although i have read that they're "hackable" for Amiga usage. Check out this list: http://www.amiga-stuff.com/hardware/diskdrives.html
It will show you that even CBM used them in their PC models..

@mods: any chance to change the title to "Can you tell me what it is?"? Maybe this thread can be used for other users too, if they have something they can't identify.
Not really, it would fit, but you would have a hole to the right of F10 because they are smaller. Also, the Cherry has room between the Amiga keys and the spacebar which would not be covered using a normal A2000 keyboard case...Quote:
