CD32 Plus loads of software

Hey all

I just got a CD32 but my wife has told me I either keep the CD32 or the CDTV I have coming. Since I have a cd drive in my A1200 I decided to keep the CDTV and get rid of this.

It comes with over 100 cd's on a spindle I don't know what they are, one is an original AB3D with codes in the case. It comes with one pad, the original CD32 pad in the picture is not being sold with the unit so it comes with the black pad. Has all leads to get it running, I was just playing on it, nice clean unit.

£80 plus postage in the UK (open to offers in PM after stating interest in thread first)

CD-Rs are a little harder to advertise as "Blanks for erasing" ;-)

Are they actually sold any more though? Most of them are on the EAB file server so they can't be against the law otherwise they wouldn't host them? That's actually the main reason I stuck the photo up.

Unfortunately, EAB take a 'relaxed' and at times paradoxical attitude towards copyright on software. Even so, copyright still does exist for the software, therefore we can't allow warez to be traded on here.

Cheers for clearing that up Merlin :) I figured they were all abandonware or freeware now. But I know now :)

The sticking-point is that "Abandonware" doesn't actually exist as a legal term. Either the works are in Copyright, or they're out of it. If the publishers haven't explicitly declared their works to be in the Public Domain, they're still covered by Copyright law.

Many publishers probably don't care one jot about their Amiga back-catalogue, but it's not our place to second-guess them. We prefer to keep clear of any grey areas and simply insist that you can only sell genuine software, unless you can prove that the Copyright has expired.

Hope this clears things up a bit for you.
