NOS MC68030RC50C (latest rev) CPUs

I'm offering NOS MC68030RC50C CPUs for sale. They are brand new and unused apart from testing each chip. They are the latest (Rev C) MC variant (rated at highest clock speed 50MHz)

All CPUs are tested in my Blizzard 1230 Mk IV with FPU, without cooling (this revision runs at 50MHz at around 52C). Some CPUs might have very small scuffmarks from storage on the faceplate but casing and all pins are straight and clean like brand new parts. Several available, will update the thread when running low.

SOLD OUT

Asking each + PP fees + shipping. PP fees will be added to the total.

Shipping anywhere in the world costs 5€ as unregistered parcel (at YOUR own risk, no compensation for lost parcel) or 17€ with tracking.

Are these suitable for the TF530 boards? TF530 requires CPU's that are 25MHz/33Mhz capable.

Sorry but I don't know as I don't have a TF530 to test it on. (Welcome to contact me if you want me to and can provide the board). In general higher clock rated CPU's can run at lower clock speeds in my experience.

Hi bud

not interested as yet but can i ask a question

i have a fully working blizzard 1230 (i think its mk2)with 50mhz cpu 2 simm slots and 68882
i have no issues it works as it should but how do i know what rev cpu do i have?
after 5 mins or so i can’t hold my finger on the cpu for 2 or 3 secs before i need to remove my finger.
With the trapdoor on as it was designed for i can feel the cpu heat though the trapdoor as very warm.
Is this normal behaviour for an 030?
i dont remember my old 40mhz gvp jaws even getting warm but it was over 26yrs ago :)

Not sure if I ever expressed interest as there are 41 pages and the Tapatalk app is not fast so I’m expressing interest for ONE 030 shipped to Australia - I can always do with a spare one for my ACA630. :)

No worries. It's absolutely normal 030 to be hot in B1230, these ceramic packaged CPU's can take a LOT of heat. They are usually designed to operate up to 125C junction temperature. What you have described is about 60-65C and it's considered absolutely normal operating heat.
