    Default X-SID & X-SID Plus : the new SID replacement for 6581/8580

    NEW! --> X-SID Plus (with Audio boost! Same level as 6581)

    AUDIO BOOST??
    Finally, after many years of deaf "Swin-SID" we have a very important update that allows you to keep the volume of the TV / Monitor at such a level that the background noise will no longer be audible.
    This version (X-SID Plus) implements an upgrade where the audio output level corresponds to the original SID 6581/8580.

    X-SID Base (traditional audio level like Swin-SID)

    • Based on SWINSID project but completely revisited (mouse & paddles are not supported)
    • This is the only SID replacement with perfect dynamic range for the best Audio quality ( no audio clipping distortion)
    • Super double led on board with fast hot switch 6581/8580 selection...never seen before .
    • Professional & industrial PCB quality
    • Equipped with precision pin headers to plug on your motherboard socket U18 position. Pins are 0.018" (0.46mm) to ensure they do not cause extra wear on your socket. Gold plated to ensure the best possible contact
    • New PCB layout and hardware improvement

    Jumper inserted --> RED led ON --> 6581 mode

    Jumper not inserted --> BLUE led ON --> 8580 mode

    PRICE (Paypal friend or + 5%)

    X-SID --> 19€
    X-SID PLUS --> 28€

    Hi, interested pending some more info. Do you have some demos for comparison? Using the usual suspects like lazy jones etc. Some digi sounds. Is it based on the old SwinSID?
