    Default Amiga 2000 ATX PSU adapter plate.

    Amiga 2000 ATX PSU adapter plate. Mild steel 2mm, powder coated. Compatible with SFX PSU (small factor) and ATX - NOT ALL ATX WILL FIT, DEPENDS WHERE IS LOCATED SOCKET/SWITCH. Screws NOT included.

    Perhaps not everyone is aware of the limitation of SFX/ATX PSUs. Modern PSUs lack a -5V line and none have the TICK signal. You can use an internal TICK signal but I heard that some peripherals may not function stably.
    In my knowledge there are two adapters which overcome this problem. Ian Stedman's adapter is very nice but I found it difficult to program the PIC used in his design.

    I am in the process of designing my own version. TICK signal will be generated by PIC16F628A and the code for it was written by my friend (only PAL 50Hz for now).
    I am now waiting for PCBs to arrive so I can test it.
