My brother-in-law is selling his collection.

1st is his Boxed Atari 520 STe that I got him many years ago.

Matching serial numbers Atari to box

Work I did.

1:-checked over PCB and re-soldered the dry joints on the mouse / joystick ports ( common issue )

2:- De-soldered and replaced the TOS with a compatible version for IDE hdd ( 2.06 UK )

3:- Upgraded the ram to 4mb

4:- installed an over the CPU Dual IDE card from Alan Hourihane with a 1GB compact flash card booting with HDDriver 8.23

5:- has DMA C398739-001A ( marked as GOOD DMA , although a myth )

floppy drive working, reading and formatting disks ,
new RGB scart cable with audio leads ,
Atari 2600 style Joystick
Atari Mouse.
RF Lead.
Power Cord.

about a Dozen original boxed games and a handful of loose disks some cover disk and PD disk mixed in..

Note:- all the internal shields are fitted I took them off to photo the pcb, just forgot to take a photo with all the shields fitted. NOTHING is missing.

Package received. Well packaged, everything survived no problems! Did a teardown, and mounted it again - replaced some screws, and some cardboard with kapton tape. Very happy with the state of the machine and all the included software. Lots to explore and learn. Fired it up today and it runs well without problems. Very happy with the deal.

Positive feedback left. Thanks!

glad it survived , I went all out on the packaging :)
