Screemo, does this adapter double the clock speed?

So if a 040 at 25mhz on a 3640 is being replaced with this drop in module, the 060 then runs at 50mhz?

And if a Cyberstorm 4040 is used where the 040 is at 40mhz, does this mean the 060 runs at 80mhz?

Yes, those are the results. 040 needs double its nominal clock as processor clock input. So 040 @40mhz needs an input processor clock of 80mhz, while the 060 uses the processor clock input without halving it, on a 040 accelerator if you use a 060+adapter, the 060 will work at double the clock of the 040, in the case of a 040 @40 mhz the 060 will work @80mhz, the adapter also ensures that the bus clock of the 060 is set to 1/2 processor clock, so the accelerator and the amiga system will work with bus clock in spec. Example: Warp engine 4040+adapter+060 rev.6 = 68060 @80mhz + 128MB fast ram on the WE working @40mhz (in spec as with a 040).
