I have a quantity of four new fully assembled A1000 kickstart ROM adapters that are left over from a job.
Pricing for ONE assembled ROM adapter is:
$40 USD, 33 Euro, 30 GBP, $55 NZD
+ freight from New Zealand
The adapter PCB fits into the A1000 main board 68000 CPU socket and has provision for one standard 40-pin ROM (ROM is not included with the adapter). This makes the A1000 directly boot into OS2.x or OS3.x at power on without the need to first boot from the super kickstart disk.
It is compatible with Amiga A1000 models both with and without the WOM (daughter) board.

The available adapters are assembled with DIP64 socket (68000), DIP40 socket (ROM), and pin headers for insertion into the A1000 main board 68000 socket. A 4.7k resistor and DIP20 socket is provided for modification of the A1000 main board to support the ROM adapter. A flying wire is soldered to the adapter PCB provided, which needs to be soldered to the A1000 main board (or WOM board), as per the installation details.
IMPORTANT: Installation of the adapter requires some soldering on the A1000 main board. Refer to the links above for details of the installation procedure. Please do not purchase this if you are not comfortable performing the installation procedure.
