The card is a 1:1 copy of the original 1581 card, I only added the possibility of mounting a double kernal (for example normal / jiffydos) for which a jumper is provided for selection or any switch. I only supply the standard kernal.
The kit includes all electronic components, even the board and the LEDs for the front panel.

    Not included
: the drive (any Amiga drive or PC modified for Amiga can be used), the flat 34pin cable and the power supply cable of the drive.
In addition, the power supply is also required (dual 12v, 5v but most drives run on 5 volts without needing 12 volts). You can use the one from 1541-II or easily adapt one.

Since you may already have the MOS 8520, as well as the CPU, the Floppy drive controller (it can be taken from a broken 1571 for example or from an Atari ST or other sources) so I also provided a KIT without these 3 components.

Some chips (for obvious reasons not new because they are obsolete, such as the MOS8520, eprom, etc.) may have aesthetic signs that do not absolutely affect their operation.

The card is perfectly compatible with the original case, if you have one. Or you can print the case in 3d (like the one in the picture, obviously not supplied but you can contact me after purchase if you need one or if you need STL files)

    The purchase options are:
    Full kit € 99,00
Full kit except (MOS 8520, CPU and Floppy Drive Controller) € 69,00
Kit assembled and tested € 139.00
(It is not possible to supply kit configurations other than those listed)

    EU Tracked shipping € 12,90
    USA Tracked Shipping € 18,90

Paypal payment (goods and services +6% fees, only for assembled kit) or bank transfer.

    SOLD to bulpper (1x)
    SOLD to
    guibrush (1x)
    SOLD to Puppetmaster (2x)
    SOLD to comraider (1x)
    SOLD to XLV2K (1x)

    OUT OF STOCK (for now)!
Due to the global shortage of electronic components and the new European VAT regulation (effective July 1st), prices may experience further increases in the near future.

Interesting. I just noted somebody is offering a 3D printed case replica of the 1581 on eBay. Would certainly be a great companion to this kit.

Do you offer shipping to Canada ?

I have shipped many times to Canada but have always had bad experiences.
The shipment from Italy to Canada is not tracked once it crosses the national borders and then it is very slow so I would avoid. So if you want at your own risk.
I use a tracked service of "Poste Italiane" the other couriers have absurdly high prices that I don't even consider.

Anyway, shipping cost to Canada is € 18,90

    That's cool a good find.

the 3D printed case i searched for is also in Italy, is this the same person or just a coincidence ?

    @pazuzu72

If your not the same person it might be worth joining forces to sell a complete ready to go 1581 including the drive (any Amiga drive or PC modified for Amiga can be used), the flat 34pin cable and the power supply cable of the drive. ??

now that would be very cool.
