Amiga 1000 / 512K RAM

FS: Amiga 1000 with 512K RAM (256K on-board, 256K Add-On)

$55 + Shipping

Here's the general condition of the system:

• The A1000 case is in good physical condition except some yellowing and a clip that holds the top and bottom together at the back right of the computer looks broken so the case does not stay completely closed there (see picture)
• The interior of the A1000 is in excellent condition. I removed the heat shield and took a picture of the board, which looks amazing. The heat shield is missing a couple screws.
• The power rocker switch moves on and off but the power always stays on.
• Comes with a replacement keyboard cable I made. Looks good but colors don't match the A1000.
• Keyboard case and space bar is very yellowed, needs a good cleaning, and there are stickers on some of the keys. All the keys, other than the space bar are not yellowed. The F9 key is detached and I don't know how to re-attach it. The key works properly though. *EDIT* I found that the 'T' on the keyboard does not work. All other keys work properly.
• Includes a MicroBotics M103 256K front slot RAM expansion board, bringing the total RAM to 512K.
• I don't have an original A1000 mouse. The mouse I'll send is an A500 mouse. The mouse works properly but the housing near the 9 pin connector looks like it was chewed on by something. This is just cosmetic damage. Look at the mouse pictures to see the overall condition of the mouse. It works but isn't very pretty.
• I don't have the original KickStart or Workbench disks to go with this.

It's frustrating at times that you guys (and girls ofcourse) trip over these things all the time in the US, yet we barly see any of these in the UK.
Mind you we trip over A600's so I guess that makes up for it.

I know what you mean. I had a most difficult time finding an A600. I eventually got one from outside the USA. Oh well...

1200s are also common as mud in the UK and Europe.

I have around 4 A1000s and a bunch of A2000s which I understand are harder to find in the UK.
