Hi all,
I have for sale my Commodore A1200 in good working order.
The A1200 is in good condition with very little yellowing and would clean up really nice. The ROMS are 3.0 and all seems to function as expected except the floppy drive does not read disks.
Installed in the A1200 is a 20GB 2.5" IDE hard disk but it is only partitioned to use the first few gigabytes.
Also installed is a Viper 1230/28 RTC with FPU installed as well. IIRC, the SIMM in the accelerator is a 16MB part, but was jumpered down to 8MB which is the maximum for this card. It is now jumpered down to 4MB to allow me to use the included Easynet PCMCIA card.
The hard disk is installed with ClassicWB and MiamiDX, AmiFTP, AmIRC, and the demo of IBrowse, so could be put on the internet straight out. In the interest of honesty, none of these (expecially Miami DX) are registered versions.
The A1200 can be connected to a monitor with either the RGB to SCART or RGB to VGA cable, both of which are included.
There is a plastic box of spare bits and pieces that come with the sale
including:
* A dissasembled A1200 (believed to have a monitor output issue)
* An intact A500 (I think this works ok, but not sure?)
* A spare power supply
* An external floppy drive (assume it is faulty, I cant remember)
* Assorted 1084s style monitor cables
* A parnet/laplink cable, home made but tested working with PC2Ami
I dont have any software with the machine, and no original boxes.
I'm looking for £100, no offers.
I live in Nottingham, England.
I may be able to meet you part way if you need to travel, but obviousely wont be able to show everything working if that is the case.
Many thanks for looking, and if you have any questions, let me know.
