I recived a box full of 3m long usb 2.0 cables. which i have then disected to add usb ports to xbox'es and the other 2.9877345m <--- (number estimated) to add a usb 2.0 cable to xbox controllers i had that had broken cables.
Im happy to say it worked out perfectly, and now the controllers work. and the xbox's have a usb port.
I also recived some ide hard disks.
And a few other bits n pieces (spray paint excetera)
so im happy that i have something to do again
we were having night shift n day shift with the baby, but now she starting to sleep better at night i am getting up at 7am again so now i can work on stuff during the day.

I downloaded a 'try-before-you-buy' version of OS Lion from the usual t0rr3nt suspects and found out the hard way that my new machine will not tolerate such malpractice
Still, all's well now, which is nice.

Got my new 5.25 floppy disks in the mail today!
Not that exciting to most of you, but I am just learning BASIC for the first time, so it was incredibly fun! I copied my test/demo disk to a new disk just to firgure out how it all works and since the disks were sealed when they arrived, I felt like I was back in the mid 80's! (Not that I was around then...)
