amazon.co.uk ships this book in a couple of weeks to us who was foolish enough to preorder from there. however i don't get time to read it before june anyway. looking forward, the atari 2600 platform book in the same series were just amazing

Got an Apollo 060 (which is really an Apollo 040 with the upgrade) and 64MB RAM.

Unbelievable speed! I never owned an '060, back in the day. I really wish I'd managed to save up and buy one. It's absolutely amazing. It's like running WinUAE on a reasonably quick PC.

Doom runs butter smooth, which makes my nerd centre fizzy with overstimulation.

we had to remove the like button on this site.....

it was used (abused) so much that it got broken.... sadly all the kings horses and all the kings me - couldn't put the button back together again...
