Nice, an MT-32! I have wanted one of them for some time as a cheaper alternative to the very thought after LAPC cards.

I thought I remembered reading that the LAPC sound quality was lacking, anyway... Of course, there's also the fact that a separate module can be used with any system that supports MIDI, not just PCs...which is why I've got a MIDI adapter for my A1200 on the wayI should see if I can find one for my MSX, as well...

These just came in today!
All i can say is that it will be long before i get my hands on soldering the parts. (higher priorities)
And here's item #2
El-cheapo Bluetooth MP3 player/card reader for automotive use. Only time will tell if it's worth its measly cost...![]()
I just got an AdIDE44 off of eBay.
To my surprise the 44-pin connector on this thing is not the standard mini IDC connector used for 2.5" hard drives, but rather the large 40-pin IDC with 4 extra pins added.
Anyone know where I can source a female connector to fit? Or better yet, a full cable?
ok well my new thing today is pretty substantial..
you can keep things in it. and its heavy duty, you can lock it up and supply it with power.
what i have today is ...
a new house.
collect the keys tomorrow.
the house im in now isnt going to dissapear though, my brother will be here.
so thats a big plus.
The house should have been available before the builders started work here, and they are currently a month over scedule "yep thats builders for you"
but me and the wife are pretty happy to be having a new house. no work needs to be done to it. and its only a few miles away, but incredibly even deeper in to the snowdonia national park which means that we get better views nicer walks but less shops and futher to travel to get to shops.
But over all its going to be better, its still in a culdesack like i am here, but its semi detatched. where as this one has houses on both sides.
I guess everything is workiong out for the best given that all our stuff is still in storage thanks to slow ass builders.
il probably add some pics tomorrw.
The best part is that it actualy has a garden for abigail to play in. and for barbeques in the summer "that 1 day of sun we get a year any way"
i have checked the broadband speeds available to the new house and its prety pathetic lol. "0.6Mb - 3mb"
but il be signing up to talk talk there abandoning virgin because honestly £6.50 a month for unlimited broad band and a phone line is cheaper than the £30 a month for just unlimited broad band from virgin. and if the max speed i could possibly get is 3Mbps then i dont see the need to pay the extra.
"i have to pay £114 up front line rental but that works out £60 cheaper in the long run so il just do that"
any way like i said im pretty happy about it.
