I'm going back to my TRS-80 2 computer and the serial number seems VERY low indeed.

    No. 335?!

Alot of S/N's seem to start with a number and anything after that number is the number produced. This is an early model TRS-80 Colour 2, I doubt it got to half a million with the old keyboard type (infact I doubt they even sold 1/2 a mil just in PAL units of this model). I guess it's possibble someone swapped out the keyboard but it is unlikely i'd say.

Thanks to commodorejohn for the info, I did Wiki it after and learnt alot about the history of these computers. Something I should have done before really.

Now, some of my friends call my "The Master of Trash", and hmmm, they might be right.
At least, I'm often lucky to stumble over good stuff, that others have thrown away };-P

This sunday morning, I was on my way home from having picked up my 8year old daugther at a sleepover-birthday-party. It rained i little bit, but not at all 'cats and dogs'. Suddenly I see a well-known logo from the corner of my eye...the characteristic 'C=' };-P
Outside a house, a pile of stuff was laying there on the pavement for the dustmen to pick up monday morning. A closer inspection revealed that it was a C128, PSU, Datasette, C1571, The Boss joystick and last (but not least) a C1901 monitor...
Luckily, I also had my 17month old son with me in the pram, cause this was a big lot to carry. Without much thought, I stuffed everything but the monitor (it was too big to fit) under the pram. And steering the pram with one hand and carrying the monitor in the other, we slowly walked home. (My daugther is always pretty embarrassed when her father 'steels' other peoples trash, so she was a bit grumpy };-S)

Now when I got home and had a look at the goodies, it was all a bit wet because of the rain, so it had to stay in a warm place for a couple of days. But worse, I discovered that the guy who had thown these goods away, was not just a gorram frakker for doing so, but also evil. He had kindly cut ALL the wires from the things!!!

Now the monitor is the biggest 'catch' of the lot I think...a first it seems like it only has inputs for composite and RGB-I (4-bit digital RGB). However after a little bit of googling, I found this awesome guy:

    http://jetsetskippy.blogspot.dk/2012...itor-1985.html

It seems like, the chassis of this little frakker has a connector for SCART, you just have to fit it };-P Today I popped the case open, and was glad to find, that my monitor has the same chassis:

I'm soooo looking forward to start on this project };-P
