I use Google Docs, if i want it nice i use Pages or LaTeX.

I'm still using Office 2003 as every version since that one has had it's interface designed by someone from another planet. You have to wonder what happens at the meetings where some of this stuff is given the go ahead.

Actually once you get used to the layout you find it's actually far more intuitive and efficient for 95% of functions - as an experiment I forced my dad onto it by refusing to give him a copy of 2003 to replace the copy he'd lost and 2 weeks later he thanked me for it!

I think this is where they would say "but what about voice recognition"

I'm old school when it comes to this kind of thing, I like hands to eye coordination. Give me a keyboard anytime and LEAVE me a bloody controller for my games console. You can take your touch screen and kenetics and JUMP! ARGH!

Although I don't understand why Amiga users haven't gone with the NG machines, I mean, hell, I'm the worse Amiga purist out there but I have always accepted evolution in the sense that components will always evolve (it's the way we interact that I have a problem with ) I can clearly understand why there is resentment to kenetics and touch screen stuff (see the bit in the brackets above)

I don't think it's cool to use fat fingers on little screens to type messages and I am not fat so do not think I have to stand up infront of my TV to control and enjoy my game.

I want to type and I want to relax... End of Story!

Today I scored from a dump bin at work today a Dell 2007FP monitor that I am now using for my A4000. Goodbye heavy CRT! I also got two Mac G5 computers. I haven't had a good look at them yet so that will be interesting.

Actually for 2010 they consulted with user groups on the redesigned interface, based on feedback on most commonly used features and functions.

Wish I had such finds, although I wouldnt replace a CRT with a LCD for Amiga use. much less an 6-7 year old model. (I love my CRTs)
