Not the tidiest thing at the back, but it makes the whole thing a lot more stable and convenient in that the PSU is internally mounted, as is the 16K RAM Pack - Its the SINCLAIR Ram Pack but I have had to remove the case..
Also inside is an expansion port "doubler" so if there are more expansions I can still plug them in.
The Keyboard itself transforms typing on the ZX81 - it feels as good as any decent PC keyboard. All keys work and I gotta say, I love it. For completion, here's the picky I promised of the rear of the machine...

Hey Paul, well done, how long did it take you to run 5k? I'm the same age as you and I regularly run a route just over 5k. Every time I start to get close to being able to run hard all the way I suffer some set back like a little injury or a festive period. I haven't been able to beat 20mins which is what I'm aiming for. Like you, 10 years ago this would have killed me.
Er . . . I got some RAM chips for the A600 piggyback mod and Space Marine for Xbox 360, hoping for some good 40k action. Anyone ever play Chaos Gate?
