I FINALLY found a monitor that can do NTSC + PAL video modes!
Took a chance on a 14-Inch Sony PVM-14M4U Trinitron monitor on eBay since I couldn't find anything locally. It was packaged well, shipped via UPS, and it works great! There's a slight flickering in PAL mode, but that might just be the fact that I'm used to NTSC.The flickering is barely noticeable and it's SO much better than the PAL to NTSC converter I was using.
The seller has four more of these monitors available in case there's anyone in the USA who is looking for a PAL monitor. It's a Buy It Now so here's a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181090254645.
Here it is running my Commodore 64G. The black area at the bottom of the screen is due to the CRT's scanlines. The actual screen is perfect.
