Well, there will be no photos and it's not retro, but...
On Friday evening, after back from work I almost trampled small packet that was containing Windows 7 Ultimate "Get Genuine Online Kit". Now it's installed on my PC and I write this from freshly installed genuine Win7...
I purchased Win7 Ultimate from Ebay one year ago and didn't know that's not genuine, so after completing all needed informations on MS website I get a new one

Yeah, I won't buy DVDs or software on eBay because every time I've done it, it's been an illegal copy. Fortunately I've never lost money because I used PayPal, but eBay has never removed a listing that I've reported for being fake.

    Glad you're all legal!

So did you have to pay for a new copy or did Microsoft allow you to convert your existing one free of charge?
I run genuine software but was just wondering
