Gone but not forgotten. RIP John.
Here's my latest gaming purchase, a Super Everdrive for my NTSC SNES. I haven't bothered with one of these before as I have most games I like on cartridge anyway (I always prefer to play the real thing over emulators) but I had stumbled across some Zelda and Mario World hacks I wanted to try out but it seemed silly to pay $40 each for custom cartridges when for the price of a few I could pick up one of these. It will also let me play some of the PAL only games that you can't get for the NTSC SNES such as Sensible Soccer and Morph.
Currently playing the Mario World "Return to Dinosaur Land" hack, it's bloody hard compared to the original but I'm enjoying it. Nice to play a "new" SNES game![]()

Trs-80 model 4. I've written out some ldos and lsdos disks and it works fine! Ok apart from the occasional corrupted display on boot and the CPU caps need changing, and the drives make a bit of a racketIt's in remarkably good nick!
Very nice, I was just looking at a picture of the model III in this months "Back to the Eighties" feature in Retro Gamer last night![]()
