Not as rare as you would think - there is a company in Halifax selling New Old Stock units - it was totally unopened prior to him running it for 24 hurs before sending it to me.
All at a fraction of price that they going for on the other bay.
They bought all of the stock when Tatung stopped producing them, they even still sell original software - Einstein Elite & Chuckie Egg here I come.
I will be opening it up soon and promise to take photos.

@Heather: sorry to see that disaster, it looks like it was kick-posted by someone but didn't make it across the ocean and landed somewhere inside that big blue puddle... and believe me, I will search the highest poles and densest forests until I find the guy responsible for that - so he could join the Polish football team, damn, a kick like that would be a treasure...
bad joking aside, I've tried to contact him in a few ways, now all I can do is wait, but seeing his main page he's on vacation until the 20th...

Thanks Shoonay! I really appreciate the help. He responded to my eBay message and told me to start a claim at the post office. He did at least send it registered and insured. I've started the process and I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

On Monday, I received the "Get Lamp" text adventure documentary by Jason Scott. Jason also did the BBS documentary a while back. I haven't had time to watch it yet, but if it is anything like his BBS documentary then it should be great!
