Just got back to the UK after three weeks in Spain, so to cure the 'Back home blues' lol I just bought a pair of Samsung 27" LED Smart HDTV monitors. These are to replace my original pair of 24" monitors.

One of the main benefits of switching to these is that since they have all the inputs a TV have, I can connect any retro machine I need without having to rely on some type of converter (I had a nightmare trying to get my C64 running on my monitor, none of the converters I bought worked!).

So now with this I can switch from a dual PC display to my C64 or Amiga whenever I need to, all simply plugged straight into them! Happy days! And the picture quality is excellent! (see C64 image below, taken in the dark, screen is normal blue in reality).

Another nice to have buy (definitely not must have). Ad on Blocket.se, the price was right and the seller located nearby. New friends for my 3000T:

    A500 Plus 1MB
    SupraDrive 500XP 105MB Quantum LPS, 2MB RAM
    A1200 bare bone
Archos OverDrive HD with extremely noisy WD 425MB HD
    Commodore 1084S
    External floppy drive
    Big box with floppys
3 Tac 2:s looking like movie props from Mad Max?

The 500 suffers from mild battery leakage. Maybe replacing the socket for the Gary chip will be enough?
    After quick cleaning and polishing:

A couple of X-Mem boards for the Amstrad CPC range... I can't get over how tiny it is!!! I included a mouse in the picture for comparison.

Well, I was having a beer in my local last night and mentioned this site and that I was going to purchase an Amiga at some point. The landlord said I could have one that had been left there, and the CD32 that belonged to his son! The 1200 has seen better days, but it'll be a nice project

    That's incredibly jammy! Nice one.

Nice score. I'd make sure you sterilise that lot though. After all - it has been sitting on a public bar counter top
