stack (39) of random comics from the 50cent bin at my local comic shop, my brother has had 2 sons over the last 2y2m, and I have been putting away a few comics (well, a lot) each time I go, as well as the occasional few from the thrift shops as well (though those tend to either be destroyed, or overpriced (and quit putting price stickers on comics you *think* are worth money...it *might* have been before you put a sticker on it's cover...))...to give to them when they are maybe 5 or 6 or so... my plan was to have a 200ct box for them each by that time...and I am close to that already after about 1 year... and since they are from the 50cent bins/thrift shops I am not really worried if they destroy them, as I pretty much did as a kid

I just finished tearing down and cleaning/repairing a Compaq SLT/286 I picked recently. It was quite a dirty mess and one of the back-light tubes in the screen had shattered during shipping which caused a lot of tiny glass bits to have to be cleaned out. It's a nice machine and oddly the battery still holds a charge that lasts a little while. It came with the documentation, PSU and carrying case. Now to write the system image to disk so I can configure the HDD.
