Lets say i wanted to buy some caps for my A500, A600 and A1200... does it matter what revision the boards are? Would all board revisions for the same system use the same caps?

Will they be ok for these boards:

A500 = rev 5
A600 = rev 1.5
A1200 = rev 1D1

Also is it possible to use solid state caps instead of the old electrolytic types?
