Declaring interest if more informations are given (about possible battery leakage). Hope shipping costs to France are not too high ! PM on the way.
PM replied!

could you please post some pics from the battery area ?

My question about the battery was answered : The battery leaked a little bit but was promptly removed, no damage occured.
So payment made.
I received the Amiga2000 today, it was well packed and everything was in good condition externally, even if there wasn't the mouse (no big deal I've got one spare).
But it seems that the shipment kicked it to Commodore's heavenWhen I powered the computer all I got was a green screen
Maybe I could try something like reseating chips and so on. Has someone ideas of what I could try to begin with ?
Green screen means chip ram problem if I remember correctly. But such a color is frequent in case of battery leaking too. So maybe motherboard was a little twisted/shaked during transportation and a solder/socket may have cracked near the already removed battery.
If you have some ideas...
Well... Open it... reinsert the chips. My A2000 when moved gives the same problem... resetling the chips ALWAYS works!!!
Good luck with your lovely machine and give news... Note a big chip, hard to get the hands on it placed in the motherboard center... It always pop up when moving my 2000

First re-seat the Agnus chip .. but you do need a special extracting tool for it (couple bucks) .. don't be tempted to use screwdrivers or other tools .. sure way to break the socket
Course you could just try pushing down on it a bit first before trying to take it out![]()
Press the socket of the Agnus together at all sides, and press it down on top. That will solve any contact problem. Assorted Chips in DIL Packages should also be pressed down. The first thing I do if I recieve old hardware is open it up, clean contacts (if applyable) and press down all socketed chips. It saves a lot of headache and should be the standard procedure. I'm guessing vibrations in trucks etc. while being transported works wonders in shaking chips out of their sockets.
Well I opened the computer and pressed on each socketed chip. No result.
I swapped every socketed chips with the equivalent taken out of my amiga500, one by one :
CPU, denise, gary, paula, CIAs, fat agnus, ROM. No result.
I reseated original components and cleaned CPU and ROM pins and socket. No result.
Blinking power light and green screen...
