Default DKB Rapidfire Zorro II SCSI card

    Hi people,

I have a Rapidfire SCSI card I want to sell. The card is in generally good condition with the exception that the 'Bank A' SIMM slot has a snapped off tab on the right hand side, which means the RAM doesn't seat correctly. The board can take up to 8MB of Fast RAM via 72 pin SIMMs.

The card works fine as a SCSI controller, with no memory installed. With RAM installed the card can be temperamental, sometimes working fine then other times the computer will refuse to boot. I believe these issues stem from the damage to the 'Bank A' slot.

This card would probably function fully (SCSI + RAM) if the slot was repaired/replaced.

Due to the above issue, I'm selling the card as if it were just a SCSI controller, of which the card is extremely reliable for this purpose.

The card also has a 25 pin external SCSI port and the on-board terminators installed.

Price: $40 Australian + shipping. I will ship worldwide.

I think a blob of hot glue can also fix the problem, mate.

    Good luck with your sale.

    Hi people,

I'm now reducing the price to $20 Australian + Shipping costs. I'll even throw in a 250MB SCSI HDD for free (not that the drive would be worth anything these days) plus an 8MB 72 pin stick of RAM for the board (which works though as described above with RAM installed the board can get temperamental).
