    Hi,

I'll add missing names to the list, no worries, if your post is in the thread you will be looked after in chronological order.

I have to apologise for not sending out emails the last couple of days. I have the boards ready and i forgot all about the adapters so i got the headers i needed for them and they are done. I'll send msgs to people in the next little while.

(I'll also empty out my PM box too a little

I have seen the old kipper2k 8MB expansion work together with the Alfadata RA5-2M (without CPU adapter) to provide 0.5MB chip and 9.8MB fastmem. If you have the version with CPU adapter, I guess it should work, giving you 1MB chip and 9.5MB fastmem.

One option if you think that you may have memory conflicts is to buy an extra CPLD that does not enable autoconfig so you could manually add memory. extra cpld programmed with no autoconfig would be $4

The a500 rev6a can support 1mb chip mem i believe... Can someone confirm please

Many people have done the mod on the 6a to get 1MB chip mem using either 512kB in the trapdoor or by soldering in 4 extra RAM chips.

I can do that later tonight. It is not higher than the top shield though. I think it should be about the same as the old 4/8MB expansion. On this board though there is an issue with the 2 wires that need to go to the side expansion connector. The connector is quite tall and is the reason that the top shield cannot come on. I think I'll solder the wires directly into my board to avoid the issue.

    Thanks demo
It's for the hxc project, I'm going to make a scaffolding for it tonight, but it might not be possible to add this expansion due to that.. Maybe it will fit a little higher, but need the measurement
