I think this type of 'cutter' is fine!
However now I'm cutting with a small hand saw ...
Seems to go a little better ...![]()

@ ozayturay (& other):
I'm finally assembling the mini-tapuino and I would suggest for the next release of the PCB to add two pitches because some Arduino ProMini (compatible) have addresses A4-A5 in inverted position with A6 - A7. This way you can make the right connections under the PCB without using the cable-adapter that I have built and that you see in the photo.
Sorry for my bad English ...

Don't worry your English is good.
That is the reason i named this PCB Type A. I thought i will design for other types of Pro Mini's but then i realized finding what i called Type A Pro Mini is easier and there is almost no price difference and the quality is good.
If you want to make modifications to the design, i can give you my eagle library files including the pro mini design.

@ ozayturay
I hope to have time to modifying the PCB ...
But it's okay if you want to send the files Eagle ...
I noticed that the PCB I have of the 'mini-Tapuino' does not respect nor the diagram '1.01' nor the '1.02', as he lines MISO-MOSI-SCLR all mixed up!
The link you posted to buy the components are Chinese sellers.
Typically items purchased on Ebay in China are delivered here after 30-40 days or more!
Best Regards

... but at the end, everything worked out!
... and the 'oled-version'

@ozayturay: Really nice this small PCBs
I have ready to ship 1.7 PCBs and some kits, they are a little bigger
Look on the sales thread for more info:http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...-kit-3rd-batch
@sweetlilmre: you will need to include the record led output on D2 output, output LOW led ON.
@spcbm I will release a patch tonight

The recording LED patch is in Github, branch "rec-led". Please test and I will sync to master as soon as it is confirmed working.
(I can't test as I don't have HW with me, but this should be fine)

Hi, i've just placed an order for a 2nd tapuino, love it!I quite fancy using a larger display with this next one, is there any info anyone could please summarise as I cant follow much in the thread sorry! ie what OLED (?) display to search ebay for, do i need compile with any different settings/ is the larger screen estate able to be used differently etc. Thanks for summarising that little lot!!
thanks again, Iain
@ ozayturay
Thank you so much! Your work of miniaturization is really admirable!
I ask you: the LED 'read' stays ON already at the start on the 'menu PLAY', before you press the 'PLAY'. The LED it should be turned OFF on the 'start menu' ...
The LED 'record' is working properly.
It also happens to you?
Many greetings

@ iainjh
I do not know if I understand your question (the fault of my imperfect English) ...
The display is set to 2 rows and 16 columns, if the name is long you run the scrolling ...
Even if you use a larger display, viewing remains the same!
The display 'OLED' used in this project is a small screen by 0.96 "(!) and therefore the letters are even smaller compared to the LCD display 2x16 characters.
On the OLED screen I tried to include in the program characters with 16x16 matrix (sorry for the attempted change, ''sweetlilmre!), but the lack of available remaining memory on Arduino, not allowed me to do that ...
