Hmm interesting. I'll have to think about this. There is no pipe char available at all, so the only way to handle this would be to use the custom character capabilities of the display and that would have to be generic for all LCDs. I'll get back to you.

I have just finished assembling my tapuino 1.7 kit, made a housing from plexiglass...and here it is !



It really works like a dream !
As an owner of MMC 64, Easyflash, 1541 Ultimate II (..and many more ), I almost forgot the original feeling of tape loading...when I was a kid, waiting to play "The Way of Exploding Fist" and "Suicide Express" in front of a big B/W telly !

There is something like a "Handbook" to the TAPuino?

what does the Switch exactly? is only for the Beeper. Play / Rec?
What are the Menu Settings?

Can I create copies of cassettes with the Tapuino. if so, how does it work?

I don't think there is a 'Handbook' but they are very easy to use.

Not sure what you mean by 'Switch'.

Yes you can create copies of cassettes, either cassette to TAP file, or TAP file to cassette. All you need is to connect a real Datasette to the Tapuino and play/record.

The Switch on the PIN-Header near the Cassette-Socket.

Must be the C64 in PLAY-Modus for this to work?
I have selectet "Record" on the TAPuino and PRESS PLAY ON TAPE. The Indicator runs, but nothing. No LED lights, No Beep i hear.

When i enter LOAD"", i see only a black Sreen on the C64.

What is the OPTION:
Invert
Key Speed
Ticker Speed
Ticker hold
Record finalize

The switch on v1.7 PCB is for the buzzer, you can select read/mute/write, look at the video from geoanas on post #712 on this page.

For recording to tapuino, I think you must go to options and select inverted, then select record and play on datassette.
